It will be very rare for a tourist not to go on Boracay shopping spree when they spend few days of vacation in the island. People always love to bring something home for friends and family, and even for themselves as souvenirs. Boracay is not known solely for its accommodations, restaurants, bars, fine white sand, clear blue waters but also place best for shopping souvenir items made of natural and contemporary materials with fusion of eastern and western designs.

Boracay has lots of small markets or shops where you can buy souvenir items for your loved ones. But the most famous and the only mall in Boracay is D'Mall. This is where you could have alternative stores and shops for buying. The mall has a supermarket, department store, specialty shops, and fashion boutique rolled in one. D'Mall has been the hub for all tourists, guests, and the natives' shopping needs.

Popular Stores to Visit for a Boracay Shopping Spree

Boracay has its communal market or commonly known as talipapa where tourists can buy souvenir items at a cheaper prices. Gift shops are found inside the mall selling different merchandise with crafty and brassy designs. Chaffering is allowed in some stores while others have fixed price for their products and goods.

Crystal Shack is the mall's best shop for silver and alloy accessories. It offers different selection of pendants, colorful and well-designed bracelets, anklets and rings.

Colors On The Other Hand is a shop specializing in wide selection of sarongs, shell belts and accessories. It is one of the best shops in Boracay that offers unique items for pasalubong.

If you happen to give yourself a break without anything but money, Ticket Boutique has the contemporary types of beach wear. The boutique has all the beach wears styles and colors that will certainly suit your taste.

Lamps are always funky and colorful at Funky Lighting. They are selling lamps of lovable colors and unique designs. These lamps are all handmade and can only be found in the island. So if you want something distinctive and colorful lamps, this is just the place you need. They can also make a lamp of your choice and design.

Plazoleta is another place where several shops are found for a great Boracay shopping spree. If you are a true blue music lover, this is the right place to visit and check out on their musical native instruments. Some shops here sell bongo drums of different sizes, flutes, pan pipes and sticks and other musical instruments with free demonstration by the shop owner. You can also buy a book or trade them with something new at Boracay bookstore in Plazoleta if you want to read while relaxing.

Lonely Planet is a shop specializing in native home decors to furniture and even utensils. They are selling lamps of different shades and designs, rugs, wall-hangings, muffler, tablewares and even carvings. They also have products from Thailand, India and Indonesia but most of the products are truly Philippine-crafted.
