Calamba Resorts: Where The Water Fun Is

Located at one of the Philippines’ most historical provinces, Calamba, Laguna is home to several privately owned Calamba resorts.

Some have been there for quite some time while others are newly constructed; all of them offer wonderful accommodations and various recreational activities that would make for a really memorable vacation.

Dona Jovita Garden Resort is one of the many poolside getaways found in Calamba. It boasts of rich botanical surroundings that anybody would enjoy walking around in. Pools and Jacuzzis are available for public and exclusive use and can even be filed with natural hot spring water upon request. Various activities like horseback riding, playing billiards, singing karaoke, and hiking up Mt. Makiling would ensure guests a truly fun-filled stay. Lodging are classified into two: the Garden Getaway and the Mediterranean Escape. The Garden Getaway has medium cottages for groups of 6-12 and large ones for a team of 20.

Tree houses and picnic huts are situated beside pools for easy access to food and things while swimming. The Mediterranean Escape has deluxe rooms with a Jacuzzi perfect for couples. For families, there are family rooms containing a cable TV, two single beds, a mini fridge and a kitchen counter. Company outings could avail of the dorm room, which is fully air-conditioned and can fit up to 40 persons.

Monte Vista Hot Spring Resort is located in Pansol, Calamba, Laguna. It has 16 mineral hot spring pools and eight large ones appended to huge waterslides for adults and smaller ones for children. Beside the pool area is an open pavilion that serves as a dining area for guests. There is also a game room where one could play billiards, neon air hockey, and table tennis. All these are available 24 hours a day including its very own Max’s Fried Chicken restaurant, a genuinely Filipino cuisine, which could be ordered for room service.

Riverview Resort and Conference Center has an almost-Olympic sized swimming pool with a 20-foot waterslide called Twister attached to it. The kiddie pool has a mini version of a waterslide. Wanting to ensure safety, the Resort store carries various kinds of floaters and swimsuits.

For businesspeople that could never leave work at behind, there is a business center complete with fax machines, telephones, photocopiers, computers with fast Internet connections, and even secretaries. It also has conference halls for meetings and presentations. The poolside could also serve as a fun venue for weddings and kiddie birthdays.

La Vista Pansol Resort offers six kinds of accommodations that have a capacity range of 2-16 persons. Seven function halls are available for events big and small – all are air-conditioned. Children and adults alike would definitely have fun and never get bored with the six main attractions comprised of big water slides, clear swimming pools, a tree house area, and an animal park.

Other noteworthy Calamba resorts include the newest Palmridge Private Resort in Pansol and Wonder Island in Laguna de Bay. Whichever is chosen, one is sure to get quality service and a time of his life.
