Cars Philippines at its Best

When we think about cars Philippines have enough things and information that first brought up to our mind: the automobile marketing and its evolution.

Furthermore, we could think of a comprehensive list of cars in the Philippines that are being sold with a short description of its manufacturers’ history. Another thing is their value that will surely depend on their quality and manufacturer. Honda Philippines, Toyota Motors Philippines and Ford Philippines are only few of those successful and famous car manufacturers in the Philippines today.

Automobile Marketing in the Philippines

The industry of automobile first boomed during the Phil-Am (Philippine American) occupation together with Americans who first introduced their vehicles that have distributed loosely in the roads during the 60’s era.
In 1973 when oil crisis was experienced in the Philippines, Filipinos are informed by President Ferdinand Marcos to buy 4 cylinder engine vehicles instead. Although this was implemented, still some vehicles have drawn back their businesses during the Martial Law but others have returned during President Corazon Aquino’s term.

During 1990’s, many Philippine car manufacturers introduced their own creations and models to the public. But there are still some having drawn back when the car sales decreased during the Asian Crisis where the economy slumped.

Automobile sales became a hit in 2006-2007 as new car models increase. In the present, despite of the fuel crisis in the world market, automobile sales are still strong.
