Makati Manila : Start A Journey Of Indulgence
They say that most of the best things in the Philippines are found in Makati Manila and it is true.
When you are exhausted of the filth and grunge of your place, just head to Makati to be entertained. This place is popular to many as a place with many skyscrapers and houses numbers of five star hotels and first class malls. With Makati considered as the major commercial enterprise and economic center in the Philippines, you can be amazed with the sophistication of the people working in Makati and the business technology they employ here. In fact, a lot of global company offices and headquarters operate in Makati making it the financial capital of the Philippines.
The Makati city is very famous for its widely distributed culture and as the leading amusement center in Metro Manila. Makati holds many first class shopping malls, tallest buildings, and most of the country's world class and five-star hotels. Most sophisticated and elite personalities in Manila live in Makati.
Getting to Makati Manila is not a problem. Buses are busy plying EDSA from Baclaran to Caloocan City passing Quezon City via the Central Business District twenty four hours daily. Commuters may also take public utility jeepneys plying in the inner roads of Makati and your only way to surrounding towns and cities of Makati. There are also four stations of the Metro Rail Transit found in Makati Manila. You can get off in Guadalupe, Buendia, Ayala and Magallanes Stations.
Venture the Shopping Galore in Makati
Pamper yourself with great indulgence of a shopping spree at the shopping districts of Makati. Developed by the Ayala Corporation, Ayala Center along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Ayala Avenue is the famous commercial center in Makati. It houses two of the best and famous shopping malls in Manila, the Glorietta and Greenbelt.
Glorietta, being the larger mall is comprised of different shopping centers, boutiques, cafes, restaurants and other office buildings. Glorietta 4 is now the Ascott Tower or the very famous Oakwood Premier before. This is an opulent hotel-apartment abode in the heart of the hub. Along its fringe are SM Department Store, the famous Rustan's and Landmark.
Greenbelt, one of the most blasé, contemporary and well, the most expensive malls in the country is just across Makati Avenue from Glorietta. Greenbelt has the array of coffee shops and restos. A Catholic chapel looms at the very heart of a beautifully landscaped green park reigned the skyline. Several hotels are within the vicinity of the famous Ayala Center. Here you can find the Makati Shangri-La Hotel, the Manila Peninsula, the Dusit Hotel Nikko, Manila Garden, the Hotel Intercontinental Manila, and the New World Renaissance Hotel.
Another first-class shopping mall is also located in Makati - the Rockwell Center. This shopping mall has the very famous and huge Power Plant Mall known with expatriates. On its fringe, you can find numbers of high-class condominium towers galore, the Asian Eye Institute and the Ateneo de Manila Professional Schools main campus. This campus holds the Ateneo Law School, the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, and the Ateneo School of Government.
The Makati Homes
The North and South Forbes Park in Makati that was developed in 1948 house many of the wealthiest families in the country. Other families who belong to the same social status reside in Dasmarinas Village which was developed in 1960 and found on the opposite side of EDSA from the Central Business District. Makati also has San Lorenzo Village, Urdaneta Village, Bel-Air Village, Palm Village, Magallanes Village, and San Antonio Village,
Not all other places in Manila have everything Makati has. There is no place like Makati. Only Makati can give you all the convenience of everything from residence to shopping malls, to universities and transportation. At Makati Manila you can enjoy a journey of indulgence.
