Nasugbu Beaches: Treasures Of The Philippine Coast

Batangas is famous not only for its coffee but also the resorts that populate its coastline, some of which are Nasugbu beaches. Nasugbu is one of its regions and is seen as a town for merriment and adventure.

The resorts there provide ample amusements and delicious cuisine for guests. There are a lot of them to choose from, which could be a bit overwhelming. Here is a list of the few that have received positive reviews from local and foreign tourists alike:

Tali Beach

This Nasugbu beach is actually a long coastline made up of seven beach resorts owned by private individuals. There are villas and/or hotel rooms for rent during one’s stay. One of these is Jo and Johnny’s Beach and Dive Inn. This lodging caters to day-trippers as well as overnight customers.

This inn has five kinds of rooms and two levels of suites, all of which with the capacity of 4 persons and are strictly non-smoking areas. Suites have air-conditioning and consist of one bedroom, two bathrooms, living room with a full-sized sofa, and a dining and kitchen area. Other rooms have bed spaces for 4 people, a bathroom, and ceiling fans; budget rooms have the option of using the air-conditioning for an additional fee. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served everyday.

Kawayan Cove’s Bamboo Beach

Made up of six sections of lots, Kawayan Cove is one of Nasugbu’s prime residential areas. Lot owners are protected by 24-hour security and provided with cable TV and fresh water. Inside is Bamboo Beach, a crescent-shaped coast lined with fine white sand that meets with crystal blue waters. It is exclusive to members who are also owners of lots or residential units in the community. It has a beach pavilion with perfect for family gatherings. A barbecue area with picnic tables shaded by old mango trees provides comfort and relaxation. Activity places include a kiddie pool, a playground, a tennis and basketball court, and an amphitheater. A meditation area located at a cliff side gives due solitude to those seeking calm and quiet.

Terrazas de Punta Fuego

Punta Fuego is by far the most popular seaside destination in Batangas. It is a resort made up of several communities, one of which is Terrazas de Punta Fuego, a new enclave that is only a two-hour ride from Metro Manila and half an hour from Tagaytay City. Like Kawayan Cove, it also is exclusive for lot owners. For those interested in owning a house or a condo with a beautiful beach view, Terrazas de Punta Fuego is the one to look for. It is regarded as the best swimming beach in Batangas for its pale sand and clear water. It also affords one to have a magnificent view of the Batangas landscape as well as the South China Sea.

Nasugbu beaches deserve as much attention as those found in the Visayas region. They have nice waters excellent for water sports and also provide top class lodgings and services. Staying in one of these places would guarantee a truly relaxing and scenic vacation.
