PNB Remittance Serving The Filipino Community
Philippine National Bank or PNB remittance centers are founded to cater the needs of the Filipino community in the United States of America and in other parts of the world. This agency is founded in 1990 and served as a money-transfer company. It has become the number one remittance center in the country, and has the most branches in the United States and Canada.
PNB Services
PNB remittance has several categories or types. It has the Rapid Remit, the Cash or Check 3D, the Advice and Pay service, and the Credit to Other Banks for both peso and dollar.
The Rapid Remit service is a direct credit service to Philippine National Bank accounts. It means that an account is maintained with the Philippine National Bank in Manila or any of its online branches all over the country. It is possible to remit peso or dollar. This service allows the recipients or the loved ones of the person who sent the money to withdraw the money from any online PNB branches and automated-teller machines. This is ideal because the money is credited at the very same day from the date of receipt of processing at any PNB remittance centers.
With the Cash/Check 3D, you need to have a peso denomination for you to avail the service. This is a cash door-to-door delivery. Exact amount of money is delivered at your very door. It may take a day or two for remittances within Metro Manila; 2 or 3 days for remittances to nearby provinces; probably 3 to 5 days for far flung and remote provinces; and about a week from the date of processing for the provinces where transportation is imaginable.
Advice and Pay service is available for peso fund transfers only. It is ideal for beneficiaries who do not have account to any Philippine National Bank branches. Through this service, they may claim and receive the money through payment at any PNB branch's counters. Beneficiaries only need to wait for telegram, a mail, or phone advice and that they only need to present a valid identification. With this kind of service, it normally takes about a day to three banking days of processing.
Credit To Other Banks is another PNB remittance center's service. Funds deposited will be transferred to the accounts maintained by the beneficiaries with other banks in the country. And they can claim or withdraw the funds the way their banks would allow them. This takes about 3 banking days.
As Easy As One, Two, Three
This remittance services offered by the Philippine National Bank are easy as one, two, three. All you have to do if you were the one sending funds is to fill up the form that they will provide you. In case you do not know as to where you can process one, PNBRCI has maintained website where branch locator is provided. Now if you were the beneficiary, simply wait for the details or information that will be provided for you by the bank itself or the person who sent you the funds.
This financial institution made it a lot easier for its client to send and receive money. They are making sure that they are providing services that will truly help its clients manage risks and avail of better opportunities.
They have more than enough branches not only in the Philippines but to other countries as well to ensure quality service to each of its clients. They always want to make sure that PNB remittance is secured and serving Filipino community.
