Siargao IslandSiargao Island, located in the province of Surigao del Norte, is known for its curling waves that soar from nine to twelve feet high.
It is frequented by surfers from all over the world. Besides surfing, the island of Siargao is also well-known for its unspoiled beaches and its rural charm.
Siargao is a small island in the Philippine Sea located 800 kilometers southeast of Manila in the province of Surigao del Norte. The coastline is marked by a succession of reefs and white sandy beaches. This island contains the largest mangrove forest reserves in Mindanao and long stretches of wetlands point out a potential for commercial seaweed propagation. It faces the Pacific Ocean and the Philippine deep, probably the second deepest water in the world at more than 11 km below sea level. ***C2_invitation_22709463***
